Copyright and DMCA
ZIRC ART TECHNOLOGY respects copyright, and asks the same in return. This page explains how to raise a complaint about material on goodmorninghaiti.com.
Before you file
Please note that Haitian proverbs are in the public domain. They are anonymous traditional sayings and nobody owns them. Publishing a proverb that also appears in your book, website or collection is not infringement of your rights in that work.
What would be actionable is if we had copied your own translation, your own explanatory writing, or your own images. We write our translations and notes ourselves and do not copy them from other sites — but if you believe we have got that wrong, tell us and we will look at it properly.
Filing a notice
Send a written notice to our designated agent including all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The URL on this Site of the material complained of, precise enough for us to find it.
- Your address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Notices that misrepresent infringement can carry liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). Please be sure before you send one.

Counter-notice
If material of yours is removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent, containing your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Federal District Court.
Repeat infringers
We terminate access for repeat infringers where applicable.
